What is Compassr?
Compassr College Consulting creates short, practical guides that walk students and parents through every step of the college admissions process.
Founded by Charlie, a current college senior and a tour guide and intern in his school's Office of Admission, Compassr was built on a simple observation: most admissions advice is either too generic to be useful or buried in a 300-page book nobody finishes. After his own family spent thousands of dollars on college admissions consulting, much of which could have fit in a few clear pages, he set out to build the resource he wished had existed.
Each Compassr guide covers exactly one part of the process, from building a college list to writing a personal essay to comparing financial aid offers, written to be read in a single sitting and used immediately. No jargon, no padding, just clear, step-by-step guidance drawn from real experience on both sides of the admissions process.
Compassr is for students and parents who want a straightforward plan instead of overwhelm, at a fraction of the cost of traditional consulting.
